Our process is to listen carefully to your needs and custom design our work to help you achieve your goals. We don’t believe one-size-fits-all; we will apply best practices to your unique circumstances in a way that fits your culture, capacity, and experiences. We will center your work and the voice of the community you serve. Once a project is underway, we check in with you regularly, solicit feedback to inform project deliverables, and change course as needed to best serve your organization’s needs.

We have projects that last a couple of months, and those that last a year, or longer. Many of our clients are return clients, and we are always excited to help them build on work we’ve already partnered on together. We are flexible and open to building out a project and goals that work for you.

At Ostara, we build out proposals in partnership with our clients, based on the amount of time we believe a project will take and the hourly rates of our consultants. This information is clearly communicated during the early stages of the proposal process and is written into proposals upon delivery to our clients, in an effort to ensure transparency and agreement.

We work with nonprofits of all sizes and are committed to your ultimate success. Ostara has a variety of consultants with different specialties and rates. After our initial conversation and some follow up dialogue, we will match you with the consultant and/or consultants who we believe are right for your project.

We have deep experience and relationships with dozens of BIPOC-led and -serving organizations as well as within the LGBTQIA+ community. We are committed to raising awareness and advocating for equity with our clients, while recognizing every organization is unique in their journey. We also recognize we are not subject matter experts in equipping clients in this arena, and so we have strong affiliate partners we can connect you with for more DEI-specific training to ensure you are getting the support you need.
