DEI Statement
My academic research focuses on antisemitism and bias, and supporting equity and access in and through my work is core to my professional practice. While Program Curator at the German government’s temporary Goethe-Institut Seattle Pop Up, I centered the work of artists of color and queer and woman artists and fought for and achieved higher pay for hourly workers. Previously, at the Henry Art Gallery, I served as staff lead on the Strategic Planning committee and as co-chair of the Equity Committee, pushing for visible progress towards racial justice. Most recently, my work at SouthEast Effective Development was dedicated to uplifting the extraordinary diversity and cultural vibrancy of Southeast Seattle through investments in affordable housing and the arts.
