DEI Statement

Throughout my career I have been deeply committed to justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion work. Personally, that means that I try to approach life with a strong sense of curiosity for the world around me, and a high level of self-awareness so that I can understand how I am being perceived and take responsibility for my actions and words (I don’t always succeed, but I try!). Professionally, this means that I like to examine systems and often help undercover how structures, policies, and cultures can be limiting an organization’s DEI efforts.

Services & Areas of Expertise

International/Global Development; Youth Development; Environment.

Notable Projects

I have more than 20 years of experience in fundraising, communications, programs, and partnership building in a variety of small, medium, and large-scale US and global organizations and across multiple sectors including international development, global health, environment, education, youth leadership, cross-cultural exchange, and philanthropy. I have been a key member in fundraising teams meeting and exceeding their goals; I have led highly effective fundraising and communication teams; and I have served on leadership teams helping to shape strategy, build culture, and navigate through challenges (like Covid 19).

Why I Love This Work

I love being in partnership with mission-driven organizations and leaders to figure out where they really need support, whether that is in prepping for a high-stake donor ask or supporting the myriad of behind the scenes work that sets leaders and organizations up for success. I thrive on being a thought partner to executives, asking the right (and sometimes hard) questions. I love helping to craft strategy and corresponding work plans. Ultimately, I just want to be useful and help organizations be as effective as possible.

Fun Fact

My dream career is to be a stage actor and I would love to do community theater.
