Why I Love This Work
I believe in the power of strong teams when they are aligned to common goals and equipped with the right skills and tools. I love connecting with everyone from the coordinators and gift processors to board treasurers and executive directors to build knowledge and best practices for achieving big results. Only in non-profit work do so many disciplines work together on solving societal challenges and building organizational strength under such pressure and constraints, which leads to amazing wins and progress.
Fun Fact
I have sailed and paddled the Salish Sea every summer of my life, now with my family of 5, and rode my bike across Washington state in 2019 to raise funding for refugees settling here in Seattle. I have spreadsheets for everything from planning for retirement to choosing baby names.
