About Olivia

My journey as a fundraiser began in my mother’s nonprofit theatre company, where I learned firsthand what it takes to transform a mission statement into community impact. After earning my Master’s in Arts Management, I worked in a variety of fundraising roles in New York City to help organizations advance their mission to make the arts, health care, shelter, food, education, and employment accessible to tens of thousands of people each year. In one of my previous roles, I managed a grant portfolio for local and national foundations, corporations, and public funders, raising over $750,000 annually.

Since joining Ostara in early 2018, my passion in fundraising continues as I help nonprofits like you identify, cultivate, and obtain vital funds to support your mission. My clients have worked in a variety of social sectors to help prevent homelessness, create access to the arts, advocate for protected trail networks, preserve historic landmarks, and more. I have supported my clients through capital campaigns, leadership transition, program development, public grants, prospect research, and grant strategy. My approach is to build a fundraising plan that is founded on the organization’s history, mission, future vision, and community. It is a joy and privilege to work with and support Seattle’s vital and vibrant nonprofits as they transform our greater community.

Fun facts about Olivia:

  • I love LSU Football. (Geaux Tigers!)
  • I unintentionally booked a Verizon commercial. If you’re a Seahawks fan, you probably saw me during the 2014 Super Bowl.
  • I recently completed my AIARE avalanche rescue course and survived the 17 inches of new snow on day two.
