My role at Ostara focuses on maximizing our potential to benefit the community. In working with clients, the emphasis is always on aligning organizational goals with day to day fundraising operations. If we are working on grant strategy, then the choices we make about what grants to pursue, when, and why, are connected to the bigger picture. No matter what the fundraising focus, my expertise lies in helping you draw those connections clearly and build an understanding among your team about why we do that. If there’s a timeline, you can bet I’m going to be ahead of schedule, and if there isn’t a timeline, I’ll build one. I’m an organization whiz, and will bring clarity and order to your needs and goals.
I came to Ostara in 2010 to manage our grant-related clients, and as demand for our grant services quickly outpaced supply, I built a team of strong, strategy-oriented grant consultants who support clients at a time on a range of grant related needs. It is our pleasure to assess the puzzle and unique needs of each client, and then implement a process that yields the best possible results. The grants team is proud to have helped raise over seventeen million dollars in the community.
For my internal company work, I apply these same principles and methods to our everyday decision-making and goal-setting for our business operations, financial health, growth of services, and quality of service. As Ostara continues to identify, support, and fill critical roles in the community, I will continue to sharpen our focus on the most effective and meaningful solutions we can create.
I feel so fortunate to be working with Ali. She is a great writer and she manages our grant application and reporting processes with terrific efficiency and effectiveness. Her attention to detail is phenomenal and she has been a consummate professional in all of her dealings with our organization.
Ali took the time to understand the unique features of InvestED's program so that her writing came from a place of conviction in InvestED's immediate impact in helping students stay in school. As a busy executive director, I appreciate that she brings discipline to the process of strategic grant submission. She is a gifted writer.
