Ostara worked with Mentor Washington to develop its board, change board culture, and expand the board’s engagement with the organization to include a focus on fundraising as well as governance.
What set The Ostara Group apart from others were the questions they asked us–comprehensive, challenging, and thought-provoking questions. After answering those questions, we gathered as a team to talk about what came out in the discussion, and how our entire approach toward donor engagement might need a refresh rather than just a stop-gap transitional strategy. They really took the time needed to understand our organizational culture and create a strategic development plan that successfully unfolded over the course of a year.
