The Ostara Group worked with ArtsCorps to staff their development team during a time of transition. We managed various aspects of their fundraising program, from appeals to major gift strategy. In addition, we worked with their event committee to plan and execute their annual gala. We also built the leadership team’s capacity to raise funds efficiently and supported them in their search for a new development director.
The Ostara Group has obviously tapped an unmet need—development support for small and mid-sized nonprofits. Nonprofit fundraising is not easy work, and I’m so glad we now have this resource in Seattle to strengthen and support our field.
Katie stepped in and helped keep our development ship afloat after the departure of our longtime development director. She helped us get through our annual fund and major donor event, and enabled us to carry out a well-thought-out hiring process for our new development director.
Rebecca was a great strategic partner for me as we thought through our development strategies and development director hire. She also provided very accessible training for our board of directors that added considerably to our momentum. I really enjoyed her positive, can-do attitude and trust her expertise.
