I am a passionate and dedicated nonprofit executive with 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience, and I spent the last 10 years as the Executive Director of the Phinney Neighborhood Association. I have demonstrated strength in forging community partnerships and developing and sustaining relationships. I think systematically, addressing issues creatively, and translating ideas into advocacy and action. I have a master’s degree in nonprofit leadership from Seattle University and, after graduating, became adjunct faculty for twelve years. I am a trainer for Washington Nonprofits and I am faculty in the University of Washington Fundraising Certificate Program. I served on the board of Washington Nonprofits from 2013 – 2018, and I currently serve on the King County Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy Advisory Board, and the North Seattle College President’s Advisory Board.
Fun facts about Lee:
- I spend a lot of my free time photographing Pacific Northwest urban nature. I love capturing unique expressions of squirrels and crows.
- I love working with dogs and have raised two service dogs (one passed and one flunked out and now is a happy member of our family!).
- In my younger days, I worked as an emergency medical technician (EMT) and a tax accountant at the same time (ok, not literally the same time).
